Young Generation Leaders

In terms of leadership, although there are differences among sects, a Buddhist institution usually has a recognized leader, such as a head monk as well as others who have different responsibilities within the institution. Incidentally, these individuals are typically older and more experienced.

Many leaders seem to either have forgotten or never learned of the Golden Rule of Leadership, which is “leading others is a privilege that is earned, not a right.” Leaders who understand that leading others is a privilege understand that leading, first and foremost, is about service.

Young Generation Leaders

By leverage here is meant the action or power to influence people, events or things. Oftentimes, we ask: What makes a leader more effective? How can we leverage our leadership abilities to increase and improve our impact?
From Mark Sanborn’s Leadership Lessons’ notes, leaders can be helped improve their impact with valuable ideas and, thus, making them more effective leaders.
